There are two types of moon bugs in the film. The standard bug, and the bugdozer. The bugdozer was a standard moon bug with a shovel attached at the front. I decided to make both versions.
I made a 3D model with a body of approximately 200mm. This would be in scale with the moon ferry I was going to build. There is no interior detail in this model, but as the windows are semi transparent resin, you wouldn't be able to see much if there were.
I also decided to make larger versions of the bugs (approximately 320mm) with clear windows and some interior detail.
